I like what you're trying to do. I really wish I didn't have to click every time to gain one dollar in the early-mid game. I haven't gotten the office building yet. I really want a speed-up button and/or to be able to interact with my buildings.  Nice musical choices.

Nice ideas, but suddenly being told I'd lost, out of nowhere, after spending however many minutes slowly clicking on dollar at a time was a rough experience. I look forward to seeing your next project.

It was one of the first games I played, and it reminded me of really fun "idle" strategy games on mobile I used to play - I liked seeing my numbers go up with good construction decisions, and the little events happening during the game added to it!

Thank you :3

I will post my update comment as a new comment. Holy hell dude, you have updated this game significantly since early access! There's an end goal, the buildings have different functions, there's events!

Not too sure that this clicker is my thing, but 5/5 for execution now.

Tyty ilyy :3 <3

Very cool premise! I like the interplay between the building pieces and I like how the narrative is sort of distributed through them and you get little snippets as you go through and build more. I will say the pace definitely was slower than I was expecting.

The one 'clarity' note I have is that when you have a choice between say 'Bribe the politician' and not, it says lose suspicion but the number actually goes up, so it would make more sense for it to say something like, Bribe Politican (Lose Money), Ignore Him(Gain Supsicion) just so it's more clear what might happen.

Overall such a unique take on a vampire game! Well done!

Oh I think that falls under bug fix lol. Thanks <3

Hello! Great game, it stood out amongst the entries as it took a completely different approach. I like the style and the music was excellent. It'd be great to start with a little more cash just to get the ball rolling a little earlier. I played it on my stream along with a few of the other submissions, I hope you don't mind. Here is the link

Hey! I love what streams have done for independent games! You're welcome to play it any time! I'm uploading the final finished update right now; I added a ton of random events so hopefully you play it again! Thanks <3

Nice, a really unique game here! Really smooth and simple UI and interface, good quality there. Good music and the tooltips do give some direction. I would have the initial story plug in a bit more guidance. And perhaps have money come in a bit faster pace. But for a game jam, this is a smooth entry, I can see it working well if the pace is increased.

I have one more update coming before the deadline :) I'm trying to address those two things - if I have time. Make sure you play the update too <3

Hey DMAndy! We had a last minute update to the rules, apologies for this: when uploading your games to Itch directory, please refrain from using Vampire: The Masquerade in the game's title. You can still use VTM, Vampire, Masquerade and any variations (but don't have to - and we recommend to keep the names catchy for general itch audience!), and you can use Vampire: The Masquerade logo and text in your game's menu, credits and description. Why? We've noticed that most game jam entries do not use it, making those who do look officially sanctioned.  We'd like to make sure no games are "elevated" in the contest because of this difference. Huge thanks for your understanding, and again apologies for updating this late!

thanks for reaching out to me! I'll get it updated!

I second some kind of explanation. A tutorial would be fantastic. I was sitting there staring at it thinking "how do I start this? What do I do? What's the goal?"

Looking forward to seeing how it develops between now and the end of the month!

The final version of the game has been posted. You played a very old version, and a lot has been added. I hope you consider playing again!

o/ tested it.

- could do with a menu explaining all the keyboard shortcuts. Found how to zoom, unsure if I can slide the camera to position it better.

- if this is intended as an idle game, it serves its purpose, if not, it needs a way to speed up the time as currently it goes at a pace of a slog.

- needs opposition and a win condition.

+ save button works, continue button works, links lead to the right locations - impressive!

Can't wait to see the next version :)
